when we left the city, it was the last time i'd see the sun set. the reds, yellows and oranges all mixed together into the sky's palette giving me one last taste. i peeked through the curtains and saw a world of oceans outside my window. the light dipped below the water, caressing its waves, peeking through and shone below the murky depths giving off a heavenly aura only to those below the surface. i let go and saw as the liquid seeped into my room, the whole room tinted dark blue and i took an exasperated gasp for breath. the water distorted my view of everything, so i closed my eyes for a few seconds and opened them again. i looked out the curtain again and saw deep silhouettes of trees tracing the sky's every outline. it was all clear as day again.

i blinked and the night sky illuminated my eyes, black like charcoal and the stars sprinkled throughout like someone took white paint and just splashed it onto the sky.

i stepped outside and put on my sunglasses, they hatched through my view of the road. i looked up, eyes wide, mind open. entering an alcove of the truest kind, i saw reality on the other side. greens of the lightest shade entered my sight as they all overlapped each other begging to be noticed. sunflowers were dashed around the grove, hugging nature's every curve. it all seemed to go on for eternity as each mushroom flourished and each parasite clinged onto its life source. waterfalls erupted and left burning echoes in my ears for i couldn't take the sound much longer. it reminded me of the time i drew flowers all over a dictionary and painted them in, like giving the book a kiss on the cheek.

i suddenly got into one of those moods again where everything felt ethereal and nostalgic, where her red hair twisted and turned with every shake of her head. she walked away but looked back over her shoulder and i knew that was her mistake. the lights circled her, floating at all levels allowing her to be seen even when she didn't want to be. i secretly captured the moment but she knew, kept hidden in the corners of her mind as he remained oblivious, she held onto the memory.

we went outside and drank tea out of opaque glasses, one cup lit up allowing the deep honey hues to run through our bodies and warm us to our core. a picnic was a nice time for apples, but i didn't know how some places grew them to be eaten entirely. i opened my mouth and smoke flew out, i saw it all on the burnt edges of film that had been exposed to the light much too soon.
Inspired by so many things.

this is .. gorgeous. breathtaking. beautiful. calming and shaking. strange but completely understanding. if that makes any sense. you're a wonderful writer, with some lovely words that twist and turn well together.

in short, I love it. :)
